The efficacy of ProstaSmart has been shown in a blind, placebo-controlled clinical trial with 90 subjects conducted by the Research Institute of Urology of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation.
The white blood cell counts in the prostate fluid in patients treated with physiotherapy was 5 times lower than in those treated with standard therapy alone of with placebo physiotherapy (same device with disabled functions and a working display).
Physiotherapy also increases the urinary frequency by almost 1.5 times and reduces the amount of urine left by almost 3.7 times.
Based on the results of a clinical trial, the Urological Research Institute of the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation recommended ProstaSmart for the complex treatment of prostatitis.
Contraindications
- acute prostatitis;
- the exacerbation of chronic prostatitis to the extent of the increase in the symptoms of the disease;
- acute rectal inflammation;
malignant neoplasms in the prostate;
rectal oncological diseases;
active tuberculosis or suspicion of prostate tuberculosis.
